Happenings at Sunny Point! On Tuesday October 7th, ACYC crafty carpenters Don Sottile, Fred Brockway, Dexter Benedict, Tom Murrin, Byron Long and Di Johnson installed the four salvaged windows in the Sunny Point Pottery Studio (former boathouse). These are gently-used Anderson double pane, crank-out windows with screens. Now we have some wonderful natural light by which to craft and create, or just throw mud as potters call it. Work began at 9am with saws a-buzzing and hammers a-whacking. This team of skilled guys had all the windows installed by 2pm and then pitched in to remove every remaining item from the building floor in preparation for the new concrete surface. Lunch was catered by the Olney Place Market and Deli.
