Happy 47th birthday to Julia Roberts! Whos a Roberts fan and what are your fave performances with her? And please try to answer this question: What is her particular appeal and talent? Early on with films like Mystic Pizza and Flatliners and Steel Magnolias I was taken by her very appealing warmth, in her eyes, her smile, her voice. I regret that her film performances have become more scarce the past decade, but I appreciate how when she does work, in films like August: Osage County and The Normal Heart, that shes showcasing a greater depth and range in more strong character roles. My faves: Flatliners, My Best Friends Wedding, Notting Hill, Erin Brokovich, The Normal Heart.
