Happy 4th of July! Lubec had a dog show this afternoon so Marty and I took Phyllis. She was the most beautiful, the smartest, the cutest, and was weartng the nicest 4th of July decorations.... but the judges did not agree. So for the upcoming year Phyllis and I are going to practice dancing (her dancing) and next year she can take Best of Show. :-) Here are some pictures of her, both at the show and afterwards when we went for a short hike in the woods. One of them shows the American flag that is tucked into her bandana and the red ribbon tied on her tail. I love this dog so much, and I love Marty so much, too.
