Happy Birthday Baba Ji Shri Gurinder Singh Ji Dhillon (1 Aug. 1954) Baba Gurinder Singh Ji became the successor to Maharaj Charan Singh Ji at the age of 36 years on June 1, 1990. He is the second youngest person to be appointed to head the Radha Soami Satsang Beas headquarters, (Charan Singh Ji was 35 yrs old at the time of appointment, and Jaimal Singh was 38 yrs old). Baba Gurinder Singh Ji, was born to a Sikh family of Dhillon clan who were followers of the Radha Soami gurus at Beas. His family is from a traditional agricultural community of Moga, Punjab, India. He was educated at one of the finest Public schools in India (Lawrence School, Sanawar, Simla Hills, Himachal Pradesh), and obtained his Bachelors of Commerce from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He began his career in the hotel industry, and later worked for DCM in the yarn division. He was based in Spain as a Manager before being named by his predecessor as spiritual head of RSSB in 1990. He lives off his own income and in keeping with the policy for all volunteers (sevadars) , he does not receive any money or honorarium from the Society. As with his predecessors, he has dedicated his life to serving the Society and guiding its members on the spiritual path. The headquarters of the society, called Dera Baba Jaimal Singh, are located beside the river Beas near the town of Beas Punjab in northern India and has been a centre for satsang since 1891. Radha Soami Satsang Beas or (RSSB), has centres located worldwide. It is a registered non-profit, charitable society, independent of any political or commercial affiliations.
