Happy Birthday Paul Erickson (Dad) Ill be over for dinner tonight... Im making Easy Mac! Quick funny Story about Paul and I when I was younger.. I wanted to have some chicken strips one day after school. As I tried to take the initiative and be independent. It didnt do as well as I thought it would.. Lets just say that the strips were thrown in the garbage and I almost had to call the fire department. Paul came home shortly after my Gordon Ramsay cooking attempt. Unfortunately, I hadnt cleared all of the smoke out of the kitchen yet... The stage was set. For the rest of my life, I would always being reminded to stay out of the kitchen.. I guess thats why Im always assigned to getting rolls or salad for family dinners! Unless Lauren Baysinger is cooking obviously! Paul had just pulled up. As fast as I could, I was swinging away to get the smoke out of the kitchen before he came in... The best way to put it, if you’ve seen Dumb and Dumber when Harry plugs the toilet... That was me trying to vent all the air out! Paul opens the door... Paul: JAMES. (as hes coughing)..... Did you burn something??!! As he walked into the kitchen, I could see the silhouette of his head through the thin smoke.. Me: (Shaking my head profusely) Huh-Uh!! I still wasn’t completely comfortable with Paul so, I was a little embarrassed and didn’t know how to confess that I had almost burnt his house down. Paul continued down stairs still coughing.... I assume that he was just trying to be nice and let it go. Happy Birthday Paulciano (Dad)!
