Happy Easter! After honing my skills at Nation Centre HQ for a long while, its about time for a fresh and bigger challenge, and I thank my very good employers, Nation Media Group, for taking the cue and offering me the new challenge in the position of Regional Editor - North Rift. This Easter, I begin my tenure at my new address in Eldoret, and I look forward to highlighting the highs and lows of the eight counties under my jurisdiction in the North Rift, covering politics, sports, commerce and all aspects of development in devolution. The North Rift is a vibrant region of Kenya, the global distance running capital, Kenyas breadbasket and therein we have huge potential for growth. Developmental journalism has been very close to my heart and I welcome suggestions, leads and ideas from the North Rift on how the Nation Media Group can serve you better and help the region exploit its full potential, keeping in check political excesses and applauding good citizenship.
