Happy Friday everybody!! The best beer garden going is equipped for the rubbish weather, with marquee complete with radio and hanging baskets (we know, we spoil you!)... This weeks Cocktail of the Week is the Cosmopolitan - theyre two for £8 before 8pm, so get down here sharpish! (£5.50 each, so thats a great deal!)... Available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays... well have a different cocktail for you next weekend if the Cosmo aint your thang! Tomorrow night we have Blues Night upstairs, featuring the wonderful Pete Wade, along with a host of other talented musicians... it starts at 7:30pm, and isnt one to be missed! And tomorrow we have the ever-fabulous Gamblers! Craig and Bobby have missed you all and are glad to be back with us :)... theyre playing from 6-8pm... ...until the start of this months CHEESE NIGHT!! Come early if you want seats - the Gamblers will be pretty busy, and Cheese night is always heaving, too. But its always an absolutely brilliant night, definitely not to be missed! Try to remember to bring a piece of cheese - it isnt obligatory but its nice to take part! A bottle of wine and immense feeling of pride goes to the winner... and then... ...its quiz time!! Our cheese night quiz is always a brilliant laugh (no, it isnt full of cheese-based questions, promise!)... its free to take part, and a box of choccies goes to the winning team!... and THEN...7 ... Find the Joker! Our in-house card game is only played on Cheese Night... its just £1 to buy a raffle ticket... if your ticket is drawn you win £10 straight away, and the chance to turn over a card... find a face card and you win another tenner... find one of the two jokers, and you win the rollover money from previous weeks - which is in the hundreds of pounds! Phew, thats quite a weekend... The lovely Jane is serving food until 8:30pm tonight, and til 7pm tomorrow night - to fill all yer hungry faces! Shes got a great menu going on at the moment, with the Franky G Burger (Blue cheese n mushroom), Thai Carrot and Corriander soup, Nachos, and Buffalo Wings back due to popular demand...
