Happy New Year! As you can see in the photo, my new drawing table - TopicsExpress

Happy New Year! As you can see in the photo, my new drawing table is now assembled and ready for action. Some Assembly Required only took me about 12 hours of bending, stooping, squatting, grunting, cursing, farting, twisting, lifting, balancing, sweating, and crying. Those who know me know that I am far from being mechanically-inclined in any way. Leave it to me to put together a table in which at one point, the table itself was on upside down, backwards, and had the completely wrong-sized screws trying to hold it all together........... But, it is done. The card table with a paint-soaked old bath towel on it has been folded away and has been replaced with this awesome table that tilts from flat to blast-off mode in mere seconds. You cant see them, but there are three drawers on the right side of the desk, that I assume are for brushes, paints, etc. but me being me........ they are now filled with Skittles, Twinkies, chips, and pain pills, all necessities for an artist like myself. In my 4 OClock position while sitting at the table is my canvas area.........with unused canvas atop boxes of recently completed pieces waiting for new homes. What you cant see in this photo are the 250 other paintings all stacked in every inch of the room, which makes just getting to the actual table and chair a real chore each day. Things are changing in dramatic ways here in the studio............. for one, I am now signing each new piece Pak 15...........in a mind-bogglingly clever way to differentiate my works from last years has been pieces. And that is it for the drama................... No, I did not go in and raise my prices through the roof for the new year. I have raised the prices on the new pieces I am cranking out, but the old stuff is still priced as it was way back last year. I have a few commissioned pieces to work on in the coming weeks, but will still paint new stuff as much as I can. I used some Christmas funds to order a few books, including a book on portraits, so who knows, maybe I will seriously try to paint a few humans this year. I tried a self-portrait of myself once, but I came out looking like a neon Lion. (See profile pic on this FB page) https://etsy/shop/PaintingsbyPak
