Happy Shashtri Jayanti. Hindus never wanted to separate and Muslims Never wanted to separate either.They have been living and fighting the British together. If there was Chandrasekhar Azaad there was Ashfaqulla Khan too..So what led to the Demand of separate nation for muslims and Finally resulting in Partition? It was the Hunger for Power.On one side was Jawaharlal Nehru and On the other side was Muhammad Ali Jinnah.They both wanted to be the First PM of the Newly Freed India. Neither of the two was willing to give up the demand and Thus came the 2 Nation theory orchestrated by Our own Father of Nowhere Mahatma Gandhi.All of these Gentlemen were Responsible for the partition of the Great Nation the wounds of which are still to be Healed.No doubt Gandhiji did a lot for the nation but he made some big Blunders too that are showing their effects till date.
