Happy getting-shot-of-us-lot day, America! I feel surprisingly American today. Got up not too late, not too early. Traveled (with one L) in a privately owned gas (not petrol) powered vehicle to a large Swedish-owned store (not shop) to purchase flat pack household goods. Which, later, I will assemble using as many power tools as possible. In the mean time I will set fire to carbon in my back yard (not garden) and grill the crap out of multifarious meats whose cuts have no direct equivalent in my home country. Note: I still dont get the concept of pillow shams. Booyah, America!
