Happy news from Healthy Pet! This super cute cat came into our lives about a month ago. She is about a little over a year old we estimate and as you can see in the second picture, shes pregnant and about to have kittens. So here is the story about how this cat came into our clinic. One of our employees lives out in the country and was at a neighbors farm when this little girl wandered up to her out of the blue. The friend had never seen this cat before and the cat did not have any tags or identification. Our employee brought the cat in to see Dr. Christman after checking with her neighbors and determined there was no microchip or any other way to find an owner for her. We suspect that she was dumped in the country by someone who didnt want her or the kittens when they found out she was pregnant. After just a few days at our clinic, Mama Kitty as we started calling her, fit right in and she has been adopted as our clinic cat. Were expecting that she will have her kittens in the next few days to a week. We also need your help! Despite our trying, we cant seem to come up with a good name for Mama Kitty. What should we call her? Also, can you guess how many kittens she will have looking at the radiographs?
