Happy stu Friday everyone! I have a topic on my mind here, feel free to discuss if youd like. I really want to get into the industry and I feel Im chasing my tail getting my mixing ears going. Ive been doing gigs composing for films and producing for stock audio placements and I dream of doing it full time comfortabley, dont we all? I supplement my lack of experience with large hardware purchases. I have seriously put my eyes on a set of barefoots and heavy acoustics for a serious career investment but I feel I may be blinded by GAS. I guess what Im saying is should I supplement my knowledge with loan enticing hardware or should I calm down with rushing the dream and have a different approach that may work better, advice?
