Happy thoughts sent my way for my animals would be appreciated tonight. My baby(adolescent ) chickens had a bad encounter with a heat lamp and got severely burned. Most escaped with singed feathers, but there are 2 in critical condition. Ill put a picture in the comments. I am treating them with advice from my chicken groups, and theyre inside for a few days so I can look after them. I know chickens may seem frivolous or theyre just chickens to a lot of people... but Ive grown really fond of them. Theyre my pets, very similar to my dogs and horses, just smaller and have 2 feet. Maybe a bit more stupid at times as well. Anyway. Prayers, thoughts, well wishes... all appreciated. The guest bathtub is a chicken hospital until further notice.
