Harrisonburg, VA – February 24, 2014 – For the third consecutive year, Friendship Industries Secure Document Services has achieved AAA Certification from the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). Friendship’s Director of Marketing and Sales, Don Wallinger, said, “NAID endorsement underscore’s our understanding of and compliance with the legal and regulatory aspects of document destruction.” NAID is the international trade association for providers of secure document destruction, also commonly known as document shredding. The Certification Program is offered on a voluntary basis. AAA certification means consumers can trust their confidential material is being handled by Friendship with the utmost regard for security. NAID AAA Certification requires a biennial audit of all operational practices. The biennial audit includes careful scrutiny of security, hiring practices, equipment, and responsible final disposal of all destroyed materials. Furthermore, under the AAA Certification Program, FSDS is also subject to unannounced audits.
