Has the Election Commission acted impartially? Allowing one party - TopicsExpress

Has the Election Commission acted impartially? Allowing one party to hold road show and rally and not allowing the other to hold rally. The Election Commission should have mentioned what specific intelligence input compelled it to refuse permission to Narendra Modi. I neither speak on behalf of NaMo nor against RaGa. but am speaking about the correct attitude of a constitutional authority. In a high voltage campaigning situation, the Election Commission should have been much more specific about the nature of security threat in NaMos rally. Otherwise there remains a needle of suspicion about some kind of bias by the local authority mentioned. The Election Commission should not only be impartial but must be seen to be impartial. The reason given is vague. Moreover, BJP has taken full advantage of the refusal for permission and it proved that the feared security threat was a figment of someones imagination. If there was security threat and it was an outside threat, then the other political parties too faced similar threat. ban of rally should have been imposed equally on all parties in that limited area.
