Have any of you been fooled by your Westies in this way? We have - TopicsExpress

Have any of you been fooled by your Westies in this way? We have been off our routine lately because I have been ill. So last night I was tidying up the kitchen and told Virginia to Go to Bed. She is supposed to trot into the bedroom and sit on her pillow next to mine and wait for her night night treat. She just sat and watched me as if she really didnt understand the command. Could she have forgotten the routine in the weeks we havent done it every night? I urged her repeatedly (the bedroom is right across the hall from the kitchen sink.) I even tried to chase her a bit into the bedroom --she wouldnt budge! (and sit-stay is her worst command!) But as soon as I dried my hands and moved my hand toward the tiny treat on the counter, she hightailed it into the bedroom, flew onto the bed, twirled around and did a perfect sit on the pillow with an extremely INNOCENT look on her face! I burst out laughing--she wouldnt budge until she was sure it was going to pay off! I ask myself over and over with this one, Just exactly WHO is trained here?
