Have been sent a bit of information about young Harry McGurk by his proud dad Mark . Like I have told Mark ---and have told Lloyd Ditchburn via a phone conversation all we can ask from the youngsters in the team is that they enjoy the day ( on Saturday ) revel in being in the team and give it there very best shot . Here is what Mark has to say about HARRY McGURK Harry has rode a couple of times with Lloyd at Northside. Harry started Grasstrack racing in the Auto Cadet Class in 2011 and came 2nd in the British championship that year. He went on to win the British championship in 2012, in the same year he began speedway. Harry has continued to race on the grass this year (on a 65cc bike) in which he recently became the British Champion in the Cadet Class. In March this year Harry received a new speedway bike for his ninth birthday. This enabled him to compete in the under 16 British Speedway Championship rounds where he was the youngest out of the 35 125cc riders in the Championship. After five rounds Harry was selected to be one of the twelve to compete in a one off final at Rye House in August. After an eventful day he finished seventh overall, which exceeded all of our expectations in his first year.
