Have just had the BEST day in so many ways. Lydia and I had a girly day in Cambridge where we met with my friend from college I havent seen properly for years (in fact we worked it out that Lydia was there last time we met, but inside my tummy!) This doesnt sound particularly remarkable but I felt confident enough that I could drive, get the Park and Ride, and walk around the city AND get myself home again. This is the first time I have felt ok to try this out. Dont get me wrong, I am totally exhausted now and plan to do nothing whatsoever tomorrow or the next day, but sometimes people can take for granted simple family days out which some of us find far far too painful to contemplate, let alone manage. And to top it off, someone spent her birthday money and now we, sorry she, has a Sylvanian camper van to play with :)
