Have to love neighbours ... NOT !!! Beware of forthcoming angry rant......which i rarely engage in.....but.... i got a visit today from a lovely man from council as someone has been complaining of our rooster who i took to save or he would have been eaten! originally they were out the back and when he began to crow they were moved out the front to our old dam area which is the furthest away from any houses, i might add here that even we do not hear him crow at 4 am in the morning and he is the closest to our house and i am a light sleeper and apparently one of the complaints was 2 hours of crowing from 4 am till 6 am ! seriously ? we are up at 5.30 am and never heard that! however i simply cant understand why if you have an issue like a rooster crowing that you cant come and discuss it rationally with your neighbour but instead have to phone council? all it has done is to prolong the issue as it has taken them months to come out when this could already have been sorted out ! freaking idiots! this is a damn good example of why i really struggle with people and prefer to be on my own ! i live on one acre in a rural residential area where hell you think you could have 1 rooster which is away from the houses but if you use the word NUISANCE to council you can get anything you want changed ! so freaking pissed off right now! the poor guy was so nice and when he saw where they were located and where the houses where he was quite surprised - i am happy to relocate the rooster to a good home but it would have been much nicer to have done it because i actually cared that it disturbed my neighbours not because i am forced to .... my dogs make more noise than that rooster ....... its on arseholes!!! so sad my beautiful Aracuna has to go :(
