Have to say thankyou to Andy Donkin ( Stephen Andy Lounton ) for my neigh nominations, and share the horses that have been a big part of my life first was Bel Bel (aboriginee for wise one, mother of Thora from the silver brumby books) I saw her from 2 weeks old saved up and bought her she was my life untill an untimely end when some tw@t shot her with an air gun and she contracted tetenus she use to follow me about like a dog and loved to be with me she was only two when she left me, then there was Toffee a rush purchase who bolted into traffic with any rider once I had a loose shoe fixed got him from a very dubiouse dealer called Anne who drove a wagon with go showjumping on the side, then came our Flicka my love who taught me everything she cost me £60 from Johnny Cooper she use to give kids rides in Saltwell park but kept running of with them I had her for 28 yrs and it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, sending her on her way at 34 yrs old, filling up here, in between there was Beauty who I worked with at the Strang ridding school for the disabled the ugliest pony you ever saw with a temper to match but she was mine to lookafter and she put up with me, then there was Sarison who I had known from a youngster and loved his gentle ways I part owned him with my friend Joy, and the last I heard of him he was hunting with a Lord I now neigh nominate my friend Ashleigh Coombs and Jennie Shotton you both have 24 hours to tell us your horsey tales xx
