Have you ever looked at the photos used in the advertising bar of your FB and Google social media pages. Have you ever found the photos strangely familiar, looking like someone maybe your sister, an old workmate, someone maybe, buried in your contact list of your hundreds of FB friends, whom though you like and love, you rarely see. You maybe saw similarities which seemed spooky, but you pass it off as weird, and just shake it off. Chances are you do recognize the photo because we are all being played by Google and their partners through a new form of subliminal advertising called photo compositing. Basically the art of this manipulation is gained by accessing and knowing your likes and preferences even better than you know consciously yourself (thanks to Google Analytics scoping you ought every moment you are online). They take photos of you or people you like, from your collections, and alter them by compositing or merging other photos into them. A composited photo of yourself may not even be recognizable to you as a photo of you, but sub-consciously there will be an identification to the photo which creates mostly an appeal of like or trust, and so when such a photo composite appears in tandem with a product or service you see being marketed in the advert banner (also catered uniquely to you based on your search histories and the tracking of the sites you visit), you are more likely to be receptive to a prospect, service or product when the human face selling it to you is a composite of, say, your best friend from high school, and your favorite uncle. Just be aware that it is going on, in a big way, and dont let yourself be deceived. But you will anyway.
