Have you ever said something bad about another person? Sure we all have at some point in our life, Or we have been around the time- clock, water- cooler talk at some time I know that I have when I was working, So this led me to share a scripture that teaches why we should not participate in these things, Please read this one and think about it today, James3:9--10 reads; With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and we curse human beings, who have been in Gods likeness. out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, should not be. I believe that this is too prevalent in our society today, So we praise God, and yet curse others just like us. So today I will refer to an old sayingOpen mouth insert foot! Yes, we have all been there, If you have not, you might be fooling yourself! The tongue can be like a lethal weapon, to summarize this verse, Simply Just think before you speak. Be a leader next time you hear some of this non- sense and intervene with something positive that the person being talked about has done. this does not only please our God, But it also makes you become a lot closer to him! So today think about the positive in people! We all have made mistakes, and if people wanted to, They could shred us with their tongues. So lets change the title to Open mouth insert God today! Father today I pray for forgiveness for us who have participated in wrong doing with our tongues, I thank you for reminding us not to do these things with our tongues And I pray that we all use our tongues to glorify you and your kingdom, So today or anytime this week that you or someone else fired up the rumor mill of evil, Simply Open your mouth and insert God! May you all be blessed as you head to the church of your choosing today! Open mouth inset God! have a Spirit filled day!
