Have you ever seen the film Chopper? The story of Mark Brandon Reid. Well in his book there is a classic story that never made it to the screen. Hes walking along the street and he sees a guy with a map on the boot of his car, he knew something felt wrong but he asked the guy if he needed any help. The guy pulled a gun on him and put him in the boot of the car. They drove for miles into the outback and when he stopped the car he ordered Chopper to get out of the car, he handed him a shovel and ordered him, `Dig your grave.` It was a hot day and Chopper knew he only had one shot at him, he got about three feet down and decided he was going to go for it. He turned around and quick as a flash he chopped the guys left leg off at the knee. He attacked and killed the fella right there and then. After burying the man at the spot which was going to be his resting place his thoughts were this. He held no malice towards the guy who tried to kill him, he had it coming and he knew he was in that kind of business. No, what really pissed him off was that he was made to dig his own grave. `He treated me with contempt, he disrespected me. I would`ve had his grave already dug.` That was Choppers code. I understand that completely. Treat others with respect. Even if you have to kill them!
