Our own greed, addictions, narcism, pollution and denial. This aspect of the Black Madonna/Kali/Sophia evokes a very deep release. As world events escalate I propose that this Grief Ritual becomes the sacred space for our generation to come to terms with a world-wide crisis, something we have not had to face...yet. Our parents have faced famine, poverty, war, genocide, racism (KKK), I would say that the males of the last generation have either killed, or seen death on extreme levels. That the women have had to pull from the very depths of their being to keep bringing through the love, the embrace, the circle of community. We on the other hand (mostly) do not know about these things - and yet, we may be facing them in the near future... I say, we look into the Black Mirror ... and authentically grieve for this time.
