Have you heard the new album? Heres what Baltimore music legend Eric Vincent had to say: Ive been giving the album a thorough listen the past couple of days and just want to say congrats--20 years in and I think its your best work. The musicianship is definitely the best. John is a beast!! Hold on to him. The horn arrangements are SO tasteful and intricate. Word is a great addition. Tracks 3 and 10 are standouts. Kirk is ridiculous and Ira and Ryan play very well together and off each other. Oh, and your bass player, Derrick? Sick. So solid. The best youve ever had. Then theres you. You should be proud of all the lyrics on the album. Your performance as a singer is really strong--you can tell youre vibing which is hard to do on a recording. As good as Ive ever heard you. Track 1 is my favorite because Im a sentimental old fool. It was the perfect way to start that album. Otherwise, tracks 3,5,7,9,10,11, and 12 are my personal favorites. In general the album is great and a great way to start KBBs third decade.
