Having a few days rest in Shillong after a six day epic first descent of Wah Khri. Huge gorges filled with boulders required some pretty terrifying portages, ferries and cliff jumps... Lost a boat then found it two days later... Mosquitoes, sandflies and leaches made camping pretty hellish at times. On day 5 the whitewater got good and the last 15km was an absolute dream.
