Having returned from a fantastic day out yesterday to Brimham Rocks we really think its worth consideration if youre bringing your family for a longer stay in York this summer. Brimham Rocks are huge, fascinating, balancing rock formations on Brimham Moor on this side of the Yorkshire Dales. It was only a shortish drive of about 45 minutes so is very reachable from the Churchill Hotel. Besides the fantastic views and interesting geology the children loved being able to play and climb with such a sense of freedom.
