He says it has nothing to do with Muslims but the ISIL ideology emerged from the Muslim Brotherhood. Theyre fundamental Sunni Islamists that adhere to jihadist principles. Non-fundamentalist Muslims may say that theyre Kharijites, i.e. those who have stepped out of mainstream Islam. Regardless, you certainly cant say it has nothing to do with Islam. So when The Honorable President opens with a dissension of a Sunni Islamic terrorist groups ideology and that of Islamism en masse, you have to wonder what his priorities are. We know most Muslim Americans arent terrorists, thats obvious. So Im a bit flabbergasted as to why hed begin his speech in this manner. Lets see to it that he follows through with his plan. Though Im not confident airstrikes alone, which I know are being carried out by the Navy, will eradicate the problem. I worry most about the ground forces that are being sent to aid because Ive seen videos of American soldiers being shot while standing at posts.
