Five Star Safari Lodge, renowned globally for its diversity and formidable concentration of big game. Position Reports to: Lodge Manager What type of experience do we require? • Min 2 years Spa Management experience • 5 Star Spa and Lodge experience preferred • Proven track record in driving sales/target environment • Experience in ordering & stock control • Previous experience working with Dermalogica preferred Which qualifications will secure this position? • National Diploma in Health and Skin Care (2 or 3 years of study) • ITEC or CIDESCO Certificate What are the key responsibilities of the position? • Oversee the management of the spa on a daily basis as well as conducting guest treatments • Maximise revenues by meeting and exceeding set budgeted amounts in treatments and retail sales and ensure accurate guest billing • Monitor standards and organise refresh training with suppliers, develop and support the spa team • Monthly report on Spa takings and general information of the Spa • Host guests during mealtimes as part of a roster with the lodge team to promote the Spa What skills / behaviours are required? • Basic computer skills – Excel and Word • Reliability • Physical stamina • Good communication skills • Confident and well presented • Well presented and spoken – fluent in spoken and written English • Strong sales skills • Strong leadership/ coaching skills with ability to communicate effectively to different nationalities and cultures • Passion for massage and a holistic spa experience • Good training/ coaching skills Please ensure that you provide the following information with your application: - Photograph – Head and shoulders picture, in low resolution format for our database - Start and End dates for all previous employment - Written references that you have available - Current contact telephone numbers and email addresses for all previous employers, for referencing purposes.
