Headed out today to Ohio (BROhio when we arrive) for Leslie Franklin - Pro Natural Figure competitor Pro Show, the DFAC Cardinal Classic / Pro Open Men and Figure Championships. Going to make it a two day trip since its like 850 miles away, first stop and stay tonight will be in Terre Haute, Tommy Jeffers country going to train back, hamstrings and calves with him Thurs, he is deep into prep and grinding. After that we head to our hotel for the weekend, polygraph, checkin, etc etc. Leslie has done so many shows this year this is easy stuff. Peak week in full effect- meaning nothing drastic for her. We are increasing Leslies carbs 10 a day this week, no refeed just going to wake up early and start carbing up about 5-6 hours before stage. Enough carbs, water and salt with each meal, and basically go into pump up and do a shoulder and back workout for 20 mins and hit the stage. Super super simple, but effective and how she looks the best. We are also pulling HIIT back slowly this week, none Wed-Sat so there is also a nice cortisol dump those days and much needed rest. Shes 114 lbs, leaner than INBA PNBA Natural Universe 4 weeks ago and her best ever- which she has achieved at each show this year- beating her prior shows best. She almost won the Evolution Natural Bodybuilding Championships August 2nd, was tied I heard or was super close and they broke it- so she has a good look for the DFAC lets just see who shows up. Her posing is always spot on perfect, stage presence great, and her routine will have something VERY cool in it no other girls are doing, a nice addition since the routine is judged in the DFAC. :)
