Heading to Washington DC to attend the First Stewards Climate Change Symposium on July 21-23. The Indigenous leaders from the Pacific Islands, Canada, US are gathering to discuss impacts by this change. The villages in our coastal areas are having to be moved and at least 80 communities are going to be under water and have to be moved. My birth place is almost in the middle of the river and houses have to be moved. Having to leave family during subsistence season is tough on family but we have to address it!
