Heading up to London on the night train tonight for an MRI and appointment with my fabulous Professor at Royal Free Hospital. Its a funny one; if the MRI shows that my Gastroparesis is caused by a slow growing benign tumour (which is apparently possible) then it can be cured once and for all which will be wonderful. The downside though, is that Id have to have brain surgery to remove it, which, you know, is a bit scary. If the MRI shows nothing (which is more probable) it means that until they find a better solution, Ill be zapping my vagus nerve with an electrical current every four hours for the rest of my life - possibly. Its all possibles as nobody, not even my wonderful Prof, really knows that much about Gastropareis and to cure it. Hey ho and on we go ....
