Hear hear ye brave warriors of High Oasis! Well, the crown has left our lands after attending to some of the battles between the clans themselves. Some of his party were bravely cut down by the steel of their opponents whilst others sent their foes to be judged by the Valkyries. As the ravens began to circle the fields of battle to watch the crows pluck the choicest of morsels from the fallen, the victors joined each other in the clan Longhouse and raised their horns to those who bravely met their fate that day. The merriment extended long in the dark hours with food and drink aplenty for those who had shown their mettle of skill and survival that day. Hail and Hail to the mighty warriors who proved mighty upon that day! OOC: That’s right folks, if for some unforeseen reason you missed this last Saturday you missed a phenomenal day of fighting and friends. We had eleven people from the crown lands, two from TDV, just under a half dozen from Tucson, and about dozen from the fledgling shire in Yuma. Thinking back I believe we had around ten to fifteen folks who are normally present not in attendance; and I am sad all of you missed that day. As the King stated, the game-day almost felt as if you were at an event itself when you combined it with the social that was hosted after the park day. I would like to thank all of the players who partook in the games, the reeves who did their job, and the color who kept out camp area secure… THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH. I am proud of all of you and would expect nothing less than what was displayed openly for our visitors. I would like to thank Sajarin for prepping the social for the after and Saul for his assistance since he left the park early and she never came to the park to make sure everything was ready for our out of town guests to truly enjoy themselves. Thank you both, excellent job! Huzzah!!! I would also like to thank our populace members who opened up their homes for our out of town guests so they could find a place to rest after such a long day of fun and excitement. Syke, (Nicole), Aramis, Hazard, Hodr, Vash, and Brook thank you for your hospitality that you rolled out for these honored guests. Again I would like to thank Sajarin for taking it upon herself to organize and plan the arrangements to make sure all of our guests were taken care of and had a place to sleep Saturday night. Thank you. This upcoming weekend we have another Viking tournament and archery contest so sharpen your blades and re-string those bows folks, it is again time to show us how much you have progressed and improved.
