Heavenly Father, In the name of Jesus Christ, I thank You that serpents and scorpions cannot overpower and consume us on a spiritual level. We stand victoriously over deception and the acts of torment of the enemy. We cut off the forked tongue propensities of dishonesty and deception. We stand against spiritual toxins that work to destroy and incapacitate us. we recognize his tactics and strategies launched out against us to try to withdraw Your Word out of our heart lest we should believe and be saved. But in the name of Jesus Christ, we declare that his efforts against us are futile. He will not put a wedge between our faith in Jesus Christ and His Word. We will not be spiritually captured in the snares of the devil. Instead, we stand immune to him because of the blood of Jesus Christ. We are reminded of Your Word in Acts 28:3-5 (NIV) " 3 Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. 4 When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, “This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live.”5 But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.” By the blood of Jesus Christ and the authority of His name, we stand against the toxic effects of venom that was injected in our hearts in times past by generational curses that have tried to attach themselves to us repeatedly. We speak to the root of tormenting issues that we are facing because we realize that anything that is affecting us negatively is the result of the curse. Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law, therefore, we are delivered from sickness, disease, broken-heartedness, hopelessness and any other spiritual stronghold of the enemy that is trying to harm us. We meditate on the goodness and truth of Your Word and shake off the residuals of the stings of serpents and scorpions into Your Fire O God, commanding the effects of them to have no harmful effect. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
