Heavenly Father, we come to you today grateful that you have given us the ability to live without fear. You give strength when we are low. You give guidance when we feel lost. You give encouragement when we feel beaten down. You give us the promise of immortality. For all who have passed away asleep in Jesus, we trust that they will wake again. In the meantime, give us confidence for our own hearts and give us words to say to those who are grieving. Help all of us to reconnect our lives and hopes to our Savior Jesus. He gives us forgiveness for now. He gives us life for eternity. It’s in his name that we pray, Amen.
