Heavy rainstorm this evening- lightening to a gentle drizzly rain that lasted welI into the night. Stepping outside around 11pm to smell the sweet heady scent of the desert floor and rain intermingled. The raindrops so light and feathery- an invitation to drop my clothes on the patio and stand in the wet. A thousand tiny kisses falling upon my skin- so airy and light. Simplicity, pleasure and a smile slowly spread over my lips. I raised my arms to the four directions, expressing gratitude for each polarity in the compass within. And lastly arms raised to the heavens above from which I came, then crouching low and touching the earth space below, my now home. Grounded deep, yet free and soaring. Followed by a salt bath and oil rubbed into skin. A breeze through the windows. The song of crickets and happy toads fill the night air. Dreams call me.
