Heavy training days require more carbs throughout the day. If your training schedule is mapped out, you will know when to adjust your nutrient intake. For example, the only days I usually have oatmeal with my breakfast is if I know that I have serious training session that day. Today Im focusing on a lot more lower body work therefor I had oats with my breakfast and I will most likely have a few servings of sweet potato later in the day. Im not obsessive with counting or tracking numbers at all BUT if you are an athlete or training for a specific purpose then you need to at least be aware so your goals can be met. - Happy Wednesday!
