Hee hee avoiding tasks at hand but a funny story esp since its true We finally get our Kansas DLs in the mail Monday so Tues hubby gets up bright eyed and bushy tailed to be in Wichita at the Social Security office to avoid long lines and to get all needed paperwork to the guy up there... so it is really cold and he gets there and 4 cars ahead of him and several show up by 8:30 the office doesnt open till 9 so at around 8:46 everyone starts to get in line. Dave is like 15th in line at this point. Shortly before the doors a young very entitled man decides he is just going to move to the front of the line. man #1 hey you need to get to the back of the line (cursing and attitude ensue) woman behind my husband (lets the lad know she aint putting up with any of this mess (by now you know this conversation is being edited as the language was extremely offensive and got worse)...Doors open man at front #2 points out to the officer that the young man had cut the line...Mr entitled started pointing at people falsely accusing them of cutting as well ...officer we aint moving the line till you get to the back of it (more colorful metaphors from Mr entitled who now walks to half way postion).... officer to the back Mr entitled this is where i started Officer 2 and 3 have exited the blding with billy clubs...and Officer one has his hand on his holster....finally after threats of no service and jail time mr entitled moves to the back of the line THE MORALE OF THE STORY: IF WICHITA HAD AN EINSTEIN BAGELS SOMEONE COULD HAVE USED THESE COUPONS AND PICKED UP A FEW BAKERS DOZEN AND EVERYONE WOULD HAVE HAD THEIR MOUTHS FULL AND NO TROUBLE AT THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE =)
