To all my friends and family on Facebook, I need a little - TopicsExpress

To all my friends and family on Facebook, I need a little assistance. As some of you know, frustration with our governments many and varied regulatory agencies, and just all the red tape involved in being the owner of multiple business caused me to initially go on strike (4 years of forcing both my businesses to the break even point in an attempt to not assist this socialistic regime). But once the administration won a second term, I decided to liquidate and retire. Having spent the last 5 years being mostly unproductive, but also not assisting this administration in their quest to socialize our great country, I have grown bored. Yep, I said it, even with all the gardening, motorcycle touring and studying, Im just plain old bored. Not to mention that a change in our life situation (daughter and grand-daughter moving home to live with us) has made it impossible for Debbie and I to do our motorcycle touring (not that I am complaining, because I am not, I would not trade this time with my daughter and grand-daughter for anything the world has to offer). So, in anticipation of the next couple elections actually changing the course of our body politic, I am planing to start a second career (that does NOT include me starting another business), and right now, based on a lot of thought, prayer and good counsel from new and old friends, Im gravitating toward the insurance field. Now to the part where you or someone you know might be able to help me. The first step is to get licensed, but all the insurance folks I have sought counsel from did that part years and years ago, so cant really recommend a company to me. Based on my research, its looking like there are more than a dozen options of classroom based, monline based, and a few that do both types of education. Can any of you recommend an insurance license course provider? If not, do you know someone who can? Second, there are far too many companies that provide insurance for me to make a good decision on which companies to look into, and which ones to avoid. Any guidance on this part of my journey would be greatly appreciated. Last, but certainly not leaste, in everything I have done throughout my life, there has been a point in time in every journey that I have not even known what questions to ask when seeking counsel, so anyone familiar with a career in insurance that has any advice, even if I am too ignorant to ask for it, would you please share that advice with me. My first contact on this was my new friend Jack Maness, and at first, I was intrigued with his business, then I started getting interested in what an insurance career might look like for me, but a couple weeks ago, I got just plain excited at what might lie ahead of me. So, what say you my friends and family? Any and all advice (the good, the bad and the ugly ) is welcomed.
