Hej friends och family..If you wonder what soundpainting is, here is a video from a one week workshop I conducted at the Conservatory of Antwerp, Belgium with the dance and music department. Absolutely amazing dancers and musicians to work with. Soundpainting is basically live-composition using hand gestures, a sign-language for the arts, to direct and create quick decisions of what is going, what to develop and what to interject in the being. Who, where, when, how, what, and why if you wish... Enter/Exit. From the material given and performed by the ensemble the composer/Soundpainter creates a piece.
