Hell of a time here in AZ. Thanks to Air Force LT Michæl Daniels for giving me the opportunity to speak to the airmen of Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson. Daniels went to the same high school as me, and was my first visitor from home after I got wounded overseas (he visited when I was Medevaced to Landstuhl, where they chopped off my leg, and where he was stationed). I also met up with Hattie Douglas, one of the S1 staff stationed with my unit in Afghanistan. I havent seen her since my mission over there. Got to spend time with some PJs and understand a little more what these elite airmen do, even talked a few in the crowd into heading to the bases Crossfit Desert Lightning box and get a WOD in. Now off to the Grand Canyon for some me time to maybe ride a donkey or roll down the canyon in a barrel.
