To the Churc in Ephesus Rev 2:1-7 1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:‘The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands. 2 “‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. 3 I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my names sake, and you have not grown weary. 4 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 6 Yet this you have:you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. ’ Called to Be Holy 1Pe 1:13-25 13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober- minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 17 And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each ones deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, 18 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you 21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; 24 for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 25 but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you. Amen! DEAR JESUS, I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TERRIBLE SUFFERING!!! I THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME THROUGH YOUR CRUSHING PAIN ... By Your many wounds, by Your agony, by Your sweat and tears, by Your Precious Blood shed with so much LOVE for me, and through Your total payment for my sins, THANK YOU FOR NEVER EVER GIVING UP ON US. YOU ARE ALWAYS FAITHFUL TO PROTECT AND HELP US. YOU SUSTAIN US. YOU BLESS US WITH FOOD, CLOTHING, HOUSING, MEDICINE, FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND PETS. You have blessed us with the FREE GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE. We praise You today for being our Perfect GOD in JESUS Powerful Name! Amen!
