Hello Class of 2018! Im an upcoming Junior at LHU & Im a Computer Science major. If any Computer Science freshman need anything like help & books (depending on the course), let me know. I have books for General Education courses too (depending on the course). Also, if anyone is interested in Dancing, theres a dance team on campus called Diamonds N Da Ruff, aka DNDR (Im a member). You dont need to have experience, trying is always good for us. We have a variety of dance styles. You name it, we have it. If we dont know it, were interested in learning it (For example: Were interested in learning Bollywood & we found a student on campus that will teach us). Weve done Ballet, Hip-Hop, African, Caribbean, Krump, Jazz, etc. Members are allowed to bring new styles & ideas to the table, AND even though we have a main choreographer, members are allowed to create their own choreography and present it to the team & well learn it. Were a team that uses our individuality to create an energetic & unique team. We do present shows on campus. We dance at campus events, campus sports games, pep rallies of course; We present our annually Spring show, weve done a Halloween showcase (were thinking of a Christmas showcase), weve also done Balls to raise money for charities & organizations. When it comes time to meet the extra curriculum activities on Ivy Lane and/or at the PUB, youll witness what we can do & hopefully you guys will be interested. Also, let me know if youre interested as of now so I can keep an eye out for you & keep you updated. (P.S. Theres mostly females on the team but we can use some males. Anyone is welcomed.)
