Hello Everyone! I hope all of you are as excited as TLP is for the upcoming The Local People X Movember Night Market happening on the 1st Nov 2014, 5-11pm. We are happy to announce that TLP Night Markets resident band The Auditory Effect has confirmed their set for the event. We love them just as much as you do, so be sure to be there at 10pm to catch the final set of the evening. Heres the breakdown of the musicians: 5pm - We have the acoustic pairings of Gardener which would kick start the event. This duos harmonies are simply divine. Gardener - Esther (Guitar & Vox) & Nadiah (Xylophone & Vox). Watch For: When Dianna whips out the Xylophone. 6pm - Dont be fooled by their age, Underground Shenanigans are made up of four 18 year olds who can easily rock the stage down. Underground Shenanigans - Janziel Licayan (Vox), Vanessa Quek (Guitar), Joanne Giam (Keyboards & Bass) & Amirul Hakim (Percussion). Watch For: Their quirky outfits & awesome song covers. 7pm - Stating 2 johns as their musical influences, John Legend and & John Mayer, be sure to catch Sunset In Antarcticas acoustic set. Sunset In Antarctica - Haikal (Vox), Yan Long (Guitars), Iyaad (Guitars) & Alicia (Keyboard). Watch For: Cover of lies by Big Bang, im not advocating Kpop here but Alicias vocals blew me out of the water. 8pm - Sus music speaks for itself, performing under the moniker Anise SG tapping into her classical background each song is created with much depth and craftsmanship. Watch For: Her performance of her original song None the wiser. 9pm - Oh are we totally waiting for weish to finally play at one of our night markets. As part of .gif she will be playing at the Laneway Festival 2015. Night Market goers will get to catch her performance first on the 1st Nov. Watch For: Some vocal looping madness accompanied by brilliant showmanship. 10pm - Get ready to dance cause The Auditory Effect are back for their 3rd Night Market appearance. If youre an 80s kid, their music will take you back when you were lugging your Discman around 24/7, with alternative rock vibes and a new wave electronica sound, be ready to head bang to their live set! The Auditory Effect - Ki Helmey (Guitars), Jonathan Garnell (Guitars), Adam Surin (Bass) & Audrey Fenghuang (Drums & Programming).
