Hello Everyone, Representative Ellington just completed a public hearing for HB 1402 this morning in the Special Standing Committee on Corrections. The hearing went great!!! However, we need your support behind us when it comes to pushing HB 1402 to go for consent. The deadline for bills to go for consent this session is March 12th, which is LESS than a week away. Representative Ellington is asking if everyone could please email the committee chair as well as the committee members, expressing the importance of HB 1402 going consent. Below I have listed the committee chair and members names and emails. Also I have added the bill summary for HB 1402 just so everyone can receive a general understanding of what Representative Ellington is wanting to accomplish.
