Hello FB friends. I normally wouldnt use this media avenue for selfish reasons, but we have a situation that deems necessary today. We got out of town last Saturday for the Thanksgiving holidays and wanted to do something non-traditional so some of the sadness of the time of year may be better. Well, we have new sadness now that we are trying to resolve. Grandpa was watching Honey (our dog that we got Lauren when she got out of the hospital) for us while we were gone. Unfortunately, a new yard and crack in the gate allowed her to escape yesterday (11/26) around 10 am. He reported to the Arlington Animal Shelter and Vet, and posting signs today, but nothing thus far on locating her. The kids are very very sad today and trying to think of all avenues on communicating, figured Facebook would be good as well. I dont think she would travel far and typically just burning some energy and looking for a dog or cat to play with (or eat their food She got out around Lamar St, just East of Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington, TX. We are 600 miles away and hard to deal with from a distance, but have family in Arlington that will be helping monitor shelter and such. If you happen to have friends or family in that area, please contact them and ask them to keep their eyes open for her. If found, please contact one of the following: Farrell Animal Vet, Dr. James Turner (817) 265-6276. They have a boarding center that they can keep her until our return. Or, the Arlington Animal Shelter at (817) 459-5898 and hit 0 to get to a live person. Or email prayingforthenevils@gmail Light color Golden Retriever, about 65 lbs, very very sweet and affectionate. She does have a chip implanted in her. Thanks so much for any help. Daddy Stev
