Hello Folks, The Hutto Public Library recevied an unexpected gift this week. They recevied 12 plastic totes containing several hundreds of folders (with no known order to our staff) with clippings from newspaper articles and magazine stories from local, regional and national publications. The donation came without a way to contact whomever dropped off these items. Unfortunately the Hutto Public Library does not have space to store these items nor does it have the capability of creating electronic files with these items. Since we do not have a way to get these back to the original owner, there is only one other solution we have at this time and that is to dispose of the items. They held value to someone, but we do not know the order or the meaning of the contents. The pictures include all of the totes and a sample of the personal notes someone took regarding one of the articles. Any help you can give will be most appreciated. If you know or know someone that may have dropped these items off, please contact our library staff and help us make contact with the original owner. We appreciate any assistance you may give.
