Hello Friends- To quote the Kinks, right where we started, here we go round again... All right, to get us off on the right foot this week, I offer you Animusic. If you like this, put the name in Youtube, you will get dozens of videos. This is a favorite of mine, because it creates a brand new guitar-like instrument. The cool thing about this video (well, one of the cool things) is that this is a real, virtual instrument. In other words, all of the string lengths, fretboard shapes, chord shapes that are played by the robots, all of it is true to real-life, if someone were to create this instrument. Furthermore, the music is played in real time. In other words, if this virtual instrument were hooked up to your keyboard and you pressed the space bar, a note would play. If you pressed the B key, a different note would play. And that is how this piece is created, each time its played (not in a recorded video, of course), it is recreated just like you would do on an actual instrument. Enjoy! Have a great week!
