Hello Friends… This is my first time submitting music for the Grammys, I just checked the entry list to see if I was accepted in any of the categories, uploaded the music to the Grammy Pro website, and here is my official announcement for all my friends who are Recording Academy Voting Members: Hello Recording Academy Voting Members! This is Chris Jasper (formerly Isley Brothers & Isley-Jasper-Isley). My new album “The One” is a return to the soulful R&B ballads and funk that I wrote for the Isley Brothers and Isley-Jasper-Isley. I wrote, produced and performed all of the music on “The One.” With this album, I am trying to bring the music that I love back to the forefront of music today! In fact, one of the songs on the album is called “Bring It On Back.” I just finished uploading all the music on the Grammy Pro Website For Your Consideration in the 57th Grammy Awards: My single “The One” has been accepted in the following categories for the 57th Grammys: Record of The Year; Song of The Year; Best Traditional R&B Performance; and Best R&B Song. My album “The One” has been accepted in the following categories for the 57th Grammys: Album of the Year; and Best R&B Album.
