I have started my career with Marriott on 26th of May 2008.Completed five successful year with Marriott and still miles to go. Q.Here in the hotel you are working in the Housekeeping department - Please tell us a little about your background and how you came to be in this job role. I have joined the hotel as a GSA and completed two and half as a housekeeping Associate and got promoted as a Executive on 1st Jan 2011. Q.Where are you originally from and what are your 3 favourite things about your home town / city ? I am from Coimbatore southern part of Tamil Nadu. 1. Coimbatore is also called as Manchester of India in the production of cotton. 2.Coimbatore is surrounded by hills like (ooty, Kodikanal, Etc.) which gives a pleasant climate to the city. 3. It also known for its language. People there speak Kongu Tamil which is very respectful Tamil. Q. How do you like to spend your free time when you are not working at the hotel? I liek to catch up on sleep till 12pm and go for shopping and movie. Q.What has been your most memorable moment so far since working for Courtyard by Marriott Chennai? Working in Courtyard by Marriott is a memorable one. Diwali Damaka 2013 was a memorable one because I bought only six tickets and I got a LED TV. That was memorable one. After that AAW 2012 was a unforgettable one we had lot of fun during that time.
